They absorb shocks and prevent your feet from sliding towards the front of the shoe, whether in a pair of pumps or sandals. So your toes no longer stick out in an open shoe, and are no longer injured by friction and painful heating. These pads can also save you half a size. They are truly invisible when placed under your foot.
